Product Details
This is a seriously gorgeous Phormictopus from the Dominican Republic, with a stunning metallic green and gold carapace that becomes even more impressive as they mature. They’re a large, fast-growing species and can reach around 17–20cm as adults.


They’re terrestrial and enjoy a good depth of substrate, a hide and plenty of room to spread out. Keep them around 24–28°C, with humidity around 70–80% and good ventilation. A slightly moist area of substrate and a water dish will keep things nice and simple.


Generally a confident, active species with plenty of presence once established, and one that makes a fantastic display tarantula.


Definitely one for anyone who likes their spiders big, colourful and a little bit fancy..
