Product Details
The Dominican Purple is a seriously impressive tarantula from the Dominican Republic, known for developing a gorgeous deep purple sheen as it matures. They’re a large species, reaching around 18cm as adults, and are also pretty quick growers.


Care is fairly straightforward, with temperatures around 23–27°C and humidity around 65–75%. Give them plenty of substrate to dig into, a hide, water dish and, importantly, good ventilation.


Temperament can be a little lively but they are a proper big, colourful New World tarantula with plenty of attitude.
