Product Details
The Togo Starburst is a seriously striking Old World species and an absolute firm from West Africa, mainly found across Togo and Ghana. They have a gorgeous grey, white and black starburst patterning that gets even more impressive as they mature. They can reach around 12–15cm and are fast growing.

This is an arboreal species, so height is definitely your friend. Give them a tall enclosure with plenty of vertical cork, bark and anchor points for webbing. They’re brilliant webbers and will happily turn their enclosure into a rather impressive silk apartment block once settled.

Aim for around 24–28°C with humidity around 65–80%, while keeping things well ventilated. A water dish should always be available and part of the substrate can be kept lightly moist, rather than turning the whole enclosure into a swamp.

They’re quick, defensive and very much an “I have places to be” kind of spider, so definitely one for experienced keepers. They can be surprisingly shy and will often disappear into their webbing, but if they decide you’ve interrupted their evening plans, they can move VERY quicky 😳
