These have been quarantined and are all feeding very well but be aware, some females may be gravid as we can't guarantee they have not been paired.



The Emerald Skeleton is a seriously unusual tarantula from the Uatumã River region of the Brazilian Amazon. They have a dark carapace with a subtle green-gold sheen and the striking skeletal markings across their legs. They can reach around 11–13cm as adults and have a good growth rate.


They’re a fossorial species and will happily disappear underground, so provide plenty of substrate for burrowing. Keep them around 23–28°C with humidity around 70–80%.


Temperament-wise, they’re fast and can be defensive when disturbed, making them better suited to keepers with some experience. An interesting one for anyone who enjoys a spider that likes to do its own thing — preferably several inches below the surface. 😂
