Product Details

The Rear Horned Baboon is a seriously unusual Old World species from Southern Africa, with a distinctive horn on the carapace and earthy brown, grey and black colouring. They can reach around 12–15cm as adults and have a medium to fast growth rate.

They’re a fossorial species and love to dig, so give them plenty of substrate to work with. Keep them around 22–26°C with humidity around 50–60%.

They’re quick and can be defensive when disturbed, making them better suited to more experienced keepers.
