Product Details

The Costa Rican Blue Front is a lovely, understated Aphonopelma from Costa Rica, with a dark reddish-brown body and subtle blue/purple colouring around the front of the carapace. They can reach around 10–13cm as adults and are a slow-growing species.

They’re terrestrial and enjoy burrowing, so give them a decent depth of substrate. Keep them around 21–25°C with humidity around 65–75%.

Temperament is generally calm and shy, with retreating into their burrow usually being their preferred response to disturbance.

Photo is a juvi, you are buying a spiderling. They do look different
